First Model, Hand and Arm

This is my very first model and texture sculpted/painted in Zbrush, Its still a WIP process, and will have clothing covering most of the arm. I know it still needs a lot of work, im just so happy I could finally get my color maps to work in Maya I just felt like I had to post! hah. Im still having problems with Displacements so this is just an OBJ level 5, exported from ZB and then just one really simple paint job I did.

I created the original Low Poly Model in Maya, then sculpted in ZB. This image here is just one color map, one pseudo diffuse, no bump, spec, etc. (obviously not done, Arm still looks like beef jerky hah), from ZB in Maya, two render layers, comped in PSD. But no painting in PSD which would obviously make these test renders better but my project is in 3D so…
Im really impressed with the results one can get in ZB with very little time so far. Hopefully I’ll get to work out my kinks with Projection Master and Displacements,

Heres my problem post here if anyone can help thanks big time!. Its a long read I apologize... [http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=31463](http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=31463)

I know its just a hand and arm, doesnt looks like much but it goes along with some other cool stuff done in Maya, Realflow, etc. so it should look decent when all is said and done.!

Thanks Giantsun..

…“just a hand and arm”? !!are you FU@#ing kidding me?

I hope you get to spend some time on it.

Thanks guys, I will definately be gettin “on it” ! heh. Its amazing how intuitive Zbrush is, and how quickly that part modeling goes, but translating this all back to the 3D package for animation is what seems to take me the most time. Still a newb…!
