First Model... any advice

Alright, I’ve been using zbrush for about a month now, and finally think I may have made something worthy of even being looked at by the artists here. (You all are amazing with zbrush!!! :ex: )I’d love some input or advice, anything.

There is still tons to this program that I don’t get or have even touch upon. Like how to make a full body or how come my polygons are soooo stretched in the back on my model. I gotta keep reading the tutorials.

Thanks for lookin!

I guess this is a monkey/ man / neanderthal … whatever you think it is.

A Zeanderthal  Great start.

Nice first model and a great idea for a creation.

Welcome aboard! This is very good for your first model.

But… it’s not an efficient methond to make a full character this way.

I recommend you to use the zspheres, make a basic shape, then make an adaptive skin, model the basic shapes, then increase the subdibvision level step by step as you define more and more each level the shapes and details of your character (from basic shapes up to details).

An other way is to import low models from other applications (export the low model as an .OBJ file and import it in zbrush as a tool).
