Always striving to make improvements, I revamped just about everything in my Batman composition. Replaced the ledge because it was just plain ugly. All new materials (actually just standard material 2 heavily edited). Redid all the lighting. Changed the rain effects in PS to be a little more artistic. Hope you enjoy!
Ha, look at that, very cool Gary. I really like the ‘rib cage’ area. Nice balance on Batman’s head. That two face chick looks great. The balance of the body looks really good.
Thanks Dragon! I’m really glad I went back and changed up everything I did. I always wanted to do a classic Batman on a roof with his cape sweeping out behind him and I feel like I finally pulled it off.
Bianca is pretty much done for now, at least until I think up some way to update her.

Pose and hair test for next character.

Poison Ivy.

Hi Gary
Hey…Luv everything about this last Poison Ivy piece that you posted…It’s a real eye catcher…Great use of color and materials…Really like the concept behind it also…She actually conveys what poison ivy is like…Beautiful to look at, …but not for touching…:D…Great job Gary…
small_orange_diamond:)
Great characters.
Thanks Glenn! Ordinarily I would shudder if I had painted skin that splotchy, but in Ivy’s case I think it’s fitting her whole toxic nature. And I finally feel like I’m getting a grasp on effective posing without destroying my mesh
Thank you patokali! I’m a big admirer of your work and your comment means a lot to me!
Here’s another closeup of Ivy. With the lighting setup these things are taking about a half hour to render out, so I’ll probably move on to my next project.
Bianca update.

New Batman wip.

Final version of Bianca.

Harley Quinn wip.

Still a lot of little details to add, but I couldn’t resist throwing this out there to see what kind of responses I get. Enjoy!
Hi Gary, this is a good sculpt. The body does NOT look out of proportion. Like the ‘clean’ colours and render. Just two things, one, the neck looks kinda strange?? And, the folds under her breast look more like there sagging folds instead of ‘stretched’ ones (for breast that size, I think the cloth should be showing resistance, not ‘looking’ relaxed.) Other than that, like how her face came out. That gun is a cool addition (nice combo of HS and Organic)-
Thanks, Dragon. I think the neck looks funny from the angle and the decorative thing that covers her neck and shoulders, although there was a crease under her chin that I hadn’t noticed left over from posing I guess. And my next update will have better boob wrinkles hopefully. Thats the first time I’ve tried doing stretchy wrinkles like that but I think I’ve got em tightened up pretty good now. Just took some pain meds, so I really hope I’m not doing stuff that I think looks great and finding out later that I really effed it up lol.
Ya see, now that looks better (nice wrinkles). Oh, I get it, that’s not her neck, you put some (or she has) some kinda ‘scarf/pad like thing’. Cool. Great piece Gary!
