finding a way to collapse same uv or paste uv to all subtools

hello , recently i try to use insert mesh and curvemode to insert a line of a simple object. but this object’uv will be deleted atfer insert mesh…

the problem is ,how can i asign uv to all of them? i try spit to part,that way i will get a list of subtools with same object but cannot find a way to paste uv to all subtools…i must tap on each and go to uv master press paste uv…can this be done by zscript?

another way i think is,keep it in one single mesh,unwrap it,and find a tools that can collapse same uv island…any idea?:rolleyes:
