Hi guys! Just finished up this piece and thought I’d post it. The idea was for an 8mm steampunk security camera. It patrols around the halls, projecting a yellowish/white square wherever its looking. All you’d hear is the flutter of the film, and the scraping of his metal feet as he approahes. When caught in his beam of light, its turns from white to dark red, as he sounds the alarm alerting any nearby Buddies of your location. Some parts were made in 3ds max, the springs, the main body. Everything else, the legs, the reels, inlays , were done in Zbrush. Texturing/painting and renders, done in Zbrush. Compositing done in Photoshop. All critiques welcome…thanks for looking.
