Filling holes in mesh. (Eyes,Nostrils,Mouth).

Hey there, just a curious question here…

Are you better off in the long run to fill them whilst creating a basemesh in maya?

Reason i ask is, whenever i use merge/weld or projection later on down the track, i tend to get a lot of noise/scattered verts with those places.

I usually do, though more out of habbit than a personal necessity. It’s typically just a little throat/eye ‘bag’ to help if the character ever has their mouth open.

Ahh cool. I should start to get in to the habit of doing it as well.

Anyone else got any input on this topic?
