Hi guys, I’m new here. I have a quick question. I made a hair set that I want close to the body. So by default the gravity is set on one. So it sits nice and flat on the base mesh. However whenever I apply a groom brush it straightens the fibre for a bit at the base making it stand out from the base mesh. Is this normal behaviour of the brushes? Is there no way of getting it to style without having it pulled out first?

Go to Brush -> FiberMesh, and turn down the “Front Collision Tolerance” slider. That setting is to stop fibers from pushing through the mesh, but it can stop you from even getting the fibers close to the mesh in some cases.
