Fibermesh Weirdness

Hi, I need some help.

Anyone knows why this is happening? The beard shows normal in preview but when I hit BPR the polygons seem to “bleed through” to the render or something.

Have you any uncleared masking under the beard? Nice work by the way.

No, I didn’t have any masks when I hit the BPR button, but I guess I had it when I created the Fibermesh, but that’s the way it works, doesn’t it? Could it have something to do with the by mask and by area parameters? If i remember correctly i zeroed area and pumped up mask at full. Might need to make some more tests with different parameters.

Yes but did you clear the mask under the Fibermesh before you rendered? Also, sometimes it is easy to forget that the roots are auto-masked by default and that masking needs to be cleared.
