Fibermesh rendering to a normal map?

I would like to render a normal map from screen with a norml rgb material applied onto a fiber mesh.
The problem is I can render fiber mesh with decent details only by BPR render and a correct normal map from the normal rgb material by only “Best” render.

Is there something I missed or a kind of work around?

If you do a Best render first, then a BPR, the two renders will be combined.
