Well trying to get a good work flow going for Fibermesh. I’m obviously doing something wrong as the mesh when imported into my rendering program looks as you see below.
I tried exporting it two ways, I export using the “Export Curves” option in the Fibermesh tools area, while it shows up in the viewport it doesn’t show up in a render when rendering. So then I export normally via the Export obj option… that shows up as you see below and the only way to get it to look like actual hair is to add a smoothing modifier to it, which I really shouldn’t have to do!
Is there a video showing how to properly export or are one or both of the ways I’m doing it right?
