FiberMesh - Out of Bound Vertices

I have started getting heavily involved with ZBrush Fiber Mesh to create hair for DAZ Genesis Characters and I have run into a problem I don’t know how to fix. Some work: http://laticis.deviantart.com/art/Evolving-PW-480564944

Everything is great except for one thing. Floating Vertices from the generated fibers.

All works fine for most except when you check the “Mesh Integrity” and then ZBrush lets you know how many
Out of Bound Vertices the generated fiber object has, when I try to “Fix Mesh” it throws the vertices to the floor at a point.
Happens with exported objects from ZBrush too.

I have attached a screenshot of the issue, this is a dense mesh and a poor mask but I have been able to reproduce the
same result on a smaller mesh…just easier to clean through a modelling app.

Any thoughts on how resolve this issue would be great.
