[fibermesh] How to export fibermesh diffuse maps?

Hi guys,
I created a bunch of layered fibermesh to sculpt a beard.
Each layer of beard has its own color chosen via the Fibermesh root and tip setting.

I want to export all of them to Keyshot to render.

I was wondering how on earth I can export diffuse maps for the fibermesh? Should I uv all of them?

If Keyshot supported vertex coloring, this would probably be a very simple task. What you could do is, instead of using the base and tip colors, is use a gradient map instead. You can then use that as the diffuse map. I believe the map has to be 128 x 128 pixels. UV’s are created automatically for fibers.

That’s a good solution but I think I’m gonna simply export them as OBJ and color them directly with Keyshot shaders.
