! I tried out your suggestion, and it worked great. It made working with the groom brush much better. I also put the Z Intensity down pretty low (~ 12 to 35). The Smooth brush seems to help in getting the hairs a little more ‘even’ / less chaotic. And I’ll use the Move Brush to make minor tweaks / adjustments.
I’m curious what Brush is best to help ‘pop’ the hair out from the mesh when it gets to flat? (How to move the fibers from being inside of the mesh or below the mesh surface). Do you have a favorite brush or method for adding volume and chaos to the fur / hair to make it look more natural? (when it’s been groomed to ‘perfect’ / too straight, or too after it’s been curled / twisted together).

Here I used your suggestion, the Groom Lengthen Brush (I started with pretty short hair), and the Groom Turbulence Brush to try and make it look messed up , more chaotic (very draft work, etc. );
