Fibermesh dirt ?

If anyone is familiar with painting particles / instances on 3D meshes. Can Fibermesh be used in the same way, or is it best using insert mesh, or maybe neither ?

I would probably use alphas, surface noise, nanomesh, and IMM for dirt/terrain/rocks, and fibermesh for grass/vegetation. There’s a limit to the sorts of shapes you can make with fibermesh, whereas nanomesh/IMM can be anything.

I think it is fair to say, anything expcept Fibermesh for this. Scott’s post covers it well.
