fire in the wire !!
Oh ish - I so dig this character! great job! The body proportions and shape are so clean cartoony and nice.
Love the boxing girls stance!
I like the style…great stuff!!!
Nice nice nice!
Love this girl!
Great sculpt love the style.
Amazing! A very sexy char! Love the work you did on her clothes and how you stylized her.
Love your style@
I am suffering some severe Time Bandits nostalgia right about now. May not be what you were representing, but the similarity makes me smile all over!
Great style!
Thanks everyone!
Jerick - haha, yeah you’re not the first to say that… I hadn’t ever seen that movie before I sculpted that guy
So here’s the final pics of Molly. I got her all baked down to a low poly model, she’s just under 9000 triangles, with one 2048 normal/diff/spec map set. Still getting some feedback on materials on her, so I might yet do a little more cleanup on the lowpoly textures, but this is pretty much how it is.
cheers!
textured low poly:
****ty bpr render because I need to learn about bpr:
low poly w/normals
low poly wireframe
Very cool design!
Love the wrinkles on the gloves and clothing.
realy nice character
what shader or software did you use for your render?
I really like the softness of the normal-map =]
I can just concur with Deryck, really nice character design and the cartoon style is great on her aswell.
Definently nice model, the topology looks nice aswell, the sculpt of her is very nice and the render is awesome!
Keep up the great work Ferg
All the best to you and happy sculpting,
- Kenny:)
Looks good I like the stylized proportions especially.
One small crit though, if your planning on using her in a demo reel or anything like that; get rid of the N-gon on the plinth.
If its going into a game engine it will most likely be tessellated, and depending on how it’s done N-gons may cause errors even on flat surfaces.
beautiful
sangius - thanks man!
derek - thanks dude
deryck - gracias
chpsdmw - the screenshots were taken inside 3dsmax using the totally sexy xoliul shader (http://xoliulshader.com/)
KC- Production - Thanks for the words man
HD CG Addict - heh thanks man, but yeah, if she went into an engine as a character, she wouldn’t have the plinth, it’s just for showing off the character
nicksc - thanks!
Here’s a few more recent bits… a couple characters I did for work, a sketch from the other day, and the final render/comp for Molly
textured medic is around 9000 triangles
cheers!
Nice work dude!
Thanks for sharing…
Not too shabby Mr. Lockwood…
