Female figure (nudity)

Hi Frank. Wow that’s a big improvement.
Her right forearm looks a bit bent. It is visible in the first two views. Always try to draw a straight line from the elbow to the wrist.
Very well done and keep it up!

Thanks gegrazion for your comments. regarding the hands, you’re right they do seem a little big, I’ll try to made them smaller. I’ll work on the stomach area a bit more. What can you suggest I do to the bum?

Thanks again.

Undoz, I see what you mean, her right arm does seem a bit bent, I’ll try to correct it. Thank you for all your comments, they have really help me a lot.

Here’s my latest female figure with some minor fixes, it still needs a lot work. Let me know what you think.

Great!

Crit: the foot looks a little strange maybe?

My first impression the second I saw this image…
(not sayin I’m right or whatever)

Very well done…but the legs struck me as a bit off. The foot seems a bit to elongated, and the ankle structure doesn’t seem right, particularly right above the front of the foot. Also, the knee area doesn’t look quite there yet. The kneecap itself is good, but the thigh/hamstring muscles/tendons etc should be sticking out a bit on each side of it (I’m looking at the front view). The inside and outside of the knee area look like they need some more development. The rear of the knee looks like uit needs a little bit of attention as well. The one large tendon doesn’t look right, though you’re on the right track.

Also, the midback, below the shoulder blades, looks a little bit recessed/concave or deflated. Seems like it could use a little more volume. The sides of the ribcage could maybe use a little bit more volume as well.

The shoulder/deltoid and upper arm area seems a little thick. Could maybe use a little shape and refinement.

That’s my take on it, for what it’s worth. By the way, excellent job overall. I’m working on a female body sculpt and it’s not easy. You definitely got a solid model goin on. Keep it up, yo!

Thanks Light and Fattkid, I still have a lot to learn so I appreciate and welcome your comments. I’ll try to correct those areas that you had mentioned when I get a chance.

i am beginner in zbrush but this is looking very good for your first female body.
i am working on my first female face myself.
good luck

Thanks disanski, I’ve been working on this model for while now, and it hasn’t been easy.

I took at look at your sculpt that you’re working on, I think you’re going in the right direction. I learn a lot from the same tutorial, but I also run into the same kind of problem that you did. I had problem trying to make it look like a female, so a times I just gave up and put it aside. But the trick is to always come back and try again and again. One thing that kept me coming back to zbrush was actually coming back to this forum, it very inspirational and the community is really great. So my advise is just keep doing what you’re doing, and when you feel is not working out for you, give it rest, come to this site get inspire and keep going. Most of all have fun doing it.

yes it is great community a lot of people helped me as well
i actually just finished with my sculpt for today and i am posting it back there. take a look may be you could give an advise as well! thanks and have a good day

OK. Finally got back to do some work on this model. I tried making a skin shader, and clothing. Find out that making clothing is a really challenging process. I first tried to do the vest within Zbrush, but it was to hard for me, so I made a low res mesh in Cinema 4d and did the detailing in Zbrush. The skin shader was done with poly painting, but it still needs a lot of work, acrually the whole thing still needs a lot of work.

anyway, thanks for looking, and any comments would be appreciated.

Damn fine work.

Thanks a lot Rouncer.

Looking good! :+1:

Thanks Roger.

Playing around with the skin shader. Picture 4.jpg

looks great man …

n nice shader …

but u probably might wana spread the spec a lil bit more n tone it town …

I’d like to see more variation in your polypaint - warm and cool areas. Breasts, for example, are typically quite pale and cool in hue due to the high concentration of fat in that area.

Keep up the good work!

Rohan - thank you. I agree, the specs are little to high, but I was trying to convey a body oil look, or a very humid skin.

Dustin - thank you. I see what you mean, I will try that when I get back to it.
