Hey everyone! New to the forums and completely self-taught so far. This is my first female face study! I’d love any feedback or helpful resources you all have. I’ll post updates as I work on her
Here’s an update
Hey I’m relatively new myself and I like what you’ve made
One thing I’d say is that the eyes seem slightly too far apart so maybe move them up and to the left a bit. Also if you roughly polypaint the eyes it’ll help you to get a better sense of how it looks while you work.
Thank you! Glad to hear someone else is in my newbie boat =)
I haven’t had much time at all during the week to work on her, but I wanted to do quick edits to move the eyes and mess with the lips a bit. Going to do a lot of major changes once the weekend hits, and definitely polypaint the eyes!
Decent amount of changes! Also didn’t like the hair, so I blocked out a new shape. Let me know what you think and please send more crits my way! I’ve been staring at this way too long now haha
Wow massive improvement on before! love it I’m probably not good enough to give critiques about this tbh, but there’s what looks like some slightly stretched polys around the lips so maybe step it up to a decent subdivision level and start adding finer details
Thank you! Yeah I’m pretty excited how she’s coming along. I started adding finer details, but then I scrapped that idea and ended up making this into a full body female study. So here’s my progress so far! Because my face was no longer a dynamesh, and dynameshing ended up merging the lips together, I currently have the head and body as separate subtools. Any idea on how to combine them into a smooth topology without dynamesh?
Gonna start on the arms/hands next. Currently they’re still just very rough =).
I thought there was something off with the proportions, and get interesting in knowing what… so i made a sketch.
I gues having the shoulder this high make more sense if the arm are up too. But i think that the real problem is the rib cage wich is too low, and then abs and then belly button…
her face and hair are pretty good thouh. good luck
