I’m not entirely sure where to post this, please move it to the relevant forum if this is the wrong place or tell me where to post it.
When I’m using zModeller one of my most used combinations of actions are ‘delete face’ and ‘bridge edge’ in order to rebuild and rearrange topology.
When using bridge edge, if you select your first edge and then accidentally delete the face that the edge is part of and then click another edge, zBrush crashes because one of the edges you are trying to bridge is no longer there. This coupled with the unreliable selecting/snapping that happens when you’re trying to select very small edges means I’m often crashing zBrush when using this workflow. I know I can use the “Do Nothing” face selection to overcome the accidental deletion but it’s easy to forget and also an unnecessary break in workflow.
Please please please would it be possible to either fix the dodgy edge snapping when using zModeller (do other people experience this?) or at least have zBrush run a check on whether the edge still exists that it’s trying to bridge before actually running the operation and if it isn’t there anymore then popup a dialogue.
