Ah, the Fat Bicker by the painter van der Helst , Gerald Andries Bicker was a second generation of wealthy and mighty Merchants op Amsterdam in the 17 th century.
The contrast between him and his father, painted by the same painter is famous. His father was portrayed in stylish and severe black clothing.
