Fall off on straight white alpha... can't find setting to eliminate

I’m getting a weird falloff on the alpha after I grabbed the doc.

I repeated this with a very basic pure white circle alpha to show the effect. (•See link below) I don’t have any radial fade on the alpha and I have the focal shift all the way down. I’m not sure why it’s creating this fall-off effect. Can anyone tell me what setting I need to adjust so that the alpha maintains the exact same height for each time it is repeated?

For a more complex alpha I built it did a similar thing when I would drag dot, the alpha would seem to “roll-off” as it moved away from the center and toward the edges and would not maintain the height across the full alpha design.

PS: On another off-topic, does anyone know the keyboard shortcut to turn a masked area into a polygroup? I can’t remember the keyboard shortcut for this…

Use the Brush curve.

I don’t think there is a shortcut for ‘Group Masked’. You would have to make your own.

Ctrl+W is the shortcut for Group Masked Clear Mask.

Thanks Marcus!
