Facial Exploration Study

Hey guys! I just wanted to share a project I’ve working on. It started as an anatomy study, but then I got into a Star Wars kick and decided to sculpt Carrie Fisher. Once she was sculpted, I wanted to do a facial study. I primarily used Zbrush to create the facial expressions for the rig. I will be adding a costume and textures soon. I hope you enjoy what you see so far.

Hey guys! Just wanted to share a zbrush render that I worked on last night. Testing out its capabilities, but it mostly served as a proof of concept before running the model through Maya. Lots to work on. Have to finish making the costume and giving her some hair (Princess Leia). Sorry for the creepy “no eyes”. Just focusing on the skin.

If you guys are interested in the full resolution of the image, please follow the link below. =)

Here’s some other views of the model along with some detail shots. Hope you like what you see!

Wow, nice likeness, and the facial rigging is really great. I like the subtle details, like the tensing of the sternocleidomastoid as the head pivots…
