face wrinkles ... please help

Hi, I’m new to organic modeling and I’ve got a problem with face wrinkles (zbrush 3.1). These small wrinkles I could make with alpha masks but when I wont to make more bigger wrinkles, which are sharper … then I’ve got a problem - they’re not realistic :frowning: If you’ve got tips about making realistic skin wrinkles (or/and where can i find realistic wrinkles alphas) I’ll be very very grateful
Than you

Here’s one technique:

Wow thanks aurick that was very helpful.
Is there another tutorial for further detailing? (skin pores and stuff like that)
I can’t seem to have any control over the alpha masks.

Have you tried doing a search for “pores”? ZBC has a really strong search engine.

maybe I’m not using the right keywords(probably) but after a 10 minute search I got nothing of use.

While I know you said you don’t like alpha masks, I find that using the click and drag stroke feature gives you more control for things like pores. The spray stroke can make the results a little erratic. I also recommend making some new alphas from photos of skin pores, bumps, and textures in photoshop.

The video posted by aurick included some cool techniques with masking. You should try that on small details after using the alphas. Combining the two might do the trick!
