Hi!
I’m just new to Zbrush and after watching over the tutorials I tried to sculpt a fish and painted on it in Spotlight. However…now I have an OBJ of a fish with what seems to be a texture (atleast that’s what I think it is) but I don’t have a texture map…or UV map. In fact I don’t understand how the fish can look all textured when I can’t find any sort of…map. I don’t know what I did wrong before texturing in spotlight but it feels like I’ve been texturing for nothing. I tried hopelessly to create a UV map with the UV master plugin…but after countless attempts it failed, the texture vanishes and I end up with a plain white fish. I tried copying and pasting the uvs…but to be honest I don’t know what I’m doing  . I just don’t end up with some texture I can export and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
In short: I’m confused when it comes to creating and exporting textures created with spotlight.
I haven’t found any tutorials that covered that part of spotlight. Maybe from my rambling in the above one might see I’m still completely confused when it comes to the exact definitions of what a texture map is or a uv map, or the difference…I’m pretty much hopeless and desperate
If someone can help me out I’d be more than grateful!
P.S.: my ghastly fish of doom.
