um ok im quite new with the program and im quite good with it because im good at drawing so i decided to make a game and use zbrush to make my models but i have a problem with exporting my models. so i finished one of my models did the color to texture, normal map and so on but when i export to obj my file is like 600mb and im like thats not right, and when i try to convert it to .fbx because im using motion builder it just crashes the fbx converter so i really need help please. could someone explain the steps of exporting my files please thanks.
how many polys are in the export? do you have polypainting turned on when you export? how many verts are in the object?
oh jeez i forgot to look a those lol um well i<ll have a look and um do you have msn or something because it would be easier to help, just if you want if not then ill post back.
just to make sure could you tell me quick steps.
If it’s for a game, you probably want to export subdivision level 1 (with UVs) as your OBJ, and apply your normal map in the game engine to get your details back.
