exporting polypainted meshes

I was wondering if anyone has, or knows how to export your mesh, with the poly painting done, and have the colors intact when you re-import it into max?
What I’m wondering is if poly painting is actully “vert coloring”? that can be exported with the mesh?

This isn’t possible at the current time. You would need to assign UVs and then convert the polypainting to a texture (Col>Txr).
