exporting OBJ to Acrobat 9 with textures

Heya!

I’m amazingly noobish when it comes to zbrush. I’m having problems exporting .obj so that they keep their color/texture into Acrobat 9. What happens now is that I’ve tried coloring and adding texture to the base mesh and then exporting but when I import it into Acrobat the base mesh turns into some default mode. I’ve managed to add texture to a single subtool and exporting it with pleasing results with the “texture”->“Crop and fill”, but I have three different subtools that needs 3 different textures that in the end needs to be a single object.

So all in all, 3 different PM3D that needs 3 different textures that can be exported as a single .obj. Any help is appreciated!

Like I said, I haven’t got a clue so keep it simple!

Thanks!

Is your color polypainted or texture painted? Which version of ZBrush are you running?

Err…hehe…well here’s where the noobishness comes in, I don’t really know! I’d guess it’s polypainted since I’ve used color->FillObj…embarrassing…

I’m running 3.1.

I’d really like it if there was some way to apply a bumpmap to one of the PM3D’s and just color to the other two. I’m making a bonsai tree and I need a way to make convincing looking bark and a needle color and some grey color for the dead wood. It also needs to be a .pdf that’s less than 10MB in the end.

Thanks for your help, Aurick!
