Hi,
I never had any problems exporting & importing from/to Cinema 4D. Now with 3.5r5, I can’t export and import something without a “Missmatch points-order in the mesh detected and auto-corrected”. Here is my workflow:
- I store a morph target
- I export the lowest sub-level
- I import the obj into C4D with Riptide, checking only “Import Normals”, “Import Groups” and “Import UVs”, “Don’t Split” and leaving Scale at ‘1’.
- I set up my UVs without changing the mesh.
- I export the object with Riptide, checking the same checkboxes and leaving the Scale at ‘1’.
- In ZBrush I import the new obj and I get the warning message.
- If I apply a checkerboard texture I see the new UVs but they are zig-zagged, the overall distribution is fine, their edges are just messed up completely.
I noticed the Scale in the ZBrush export panel is set to something around 30 and that the x,y.z-offsets are not at 0. I tried to set these at 0 resp. the scale at 1 but this makes no difference.
