Hello everyone this is the very first time I write in this forum, so sorry for my english but I’m not very practice of this language.
I would like to ask a pair of questions, I have searched into this forum but find no answer to my problems.
I usually start sculpting in zbrush with it’s native tools like sphere or zsphere.
I have sculpted lot of stuff, with lot of details (the image is down there), so I want to export those geometry into max 2008 to render with vray and animate those characters.
My problems are those; when I try to export displacement max and put them into the channel of a max or vray materials or into a max modifier called displacement max just crash…without recovery.Instead when I try to export a displacement map with multidisplacement it says it’s low on memory, but i got a dual xeon with 6 gb ram…I tried with lots of size 1024 2048 ecc…and tried with a lots of settings in my memory but no ways.
The second, and last one, is that when i try to make a zmapper of a low res mesh, imported from max or whatever, after have done some sculpting with zbrush it doesn’t create a good normal, creating a wrong unwrap of the object.Why it doesn’t create a normal map to an imported file too?
