Exporting as obj

Hi,

I have a simple model consisting of 2722 polys in Zbrush that I want to bring into Maya, can I not simply export it as an OBJ? When I click to export button in the tool window, nothing happens. I’ve read a bit on displacement maps and such, having to export low and high poly versions of the model, but isn’t that only for high-poly models? I figured that 2722 polys is so small, that it’d be as simple as clicking the export button.

Yes you are right, a model under 3000 polys should be no problem at all for maya. Make sure you have your model active on the canvas (press T) and then click export in the tool menu on the top right.
