Exported Mesh and ZSphere Poly Count Questions

Q1 - Exporting Mesh
I exported a ZSphere mesh as an .obj (no subtools) but when I opened it in my 3D application it imported as a number of separate mesh pieces. How can I export the .obj so it opens as one complete mesh and not separate mesh pieces?

Q2 - ZSphere Geometry Resolution
Can I lower the number of polys on a ZSphere mesh. For example when I preview my ZSphere mesh the arm has 10 quads for its circumference even after I select (Geometry > SDiv Level to 1) I want the mesh to have 4 or 6 quads to make up the arm circumference. Is this possible?

01…You probably have more than one polygroup. Make sure your whole mesh is visible then go to Polygroup submenu and do Group Visible before you export.

02…Go to Adaptive Skin submenu and lower Density slider.

Thanks zber. I went to “Adaptive Skin” and lowered it to 1 from 2 but the arms still have 10 quads. Is that the lowest no. of quads that a ZSphere can go?

Try lowering the Global Radial Density to 4 also. That too is in the Adaptive Skin submenu.
