Export from ZBrush - Import to Max - Naming issues?

So, I have had a little problem with this but have always just assumed it was default behaviour and sucked it up. I was recently talking with somebody who used ZBrush and Maya and said that this didn’t occur at all so ti got me thinking that something must be wrong in my global setting somewhere.

If I export an object\ subtool from ZBrush, name it say Head_001.OBJ, open 3DS Max and then import it, the file will be imported into Max with the name ZBrushPolyMesh3D or Group01, instead of the proper name of the OBJ file. This is ok for importing single objects, but when exporting and importing multiple subtools it can get pretty frustrating.

When I open an OBJ exported by Max, in Notepad, the file clearly defines the name of the object, in the footer, as:

“g ThisIsTheNameOfTheObject”

However, when exporting an object from ZBrush with the same name, opening the OBJ file, the name of the object is defined as:

“g ZBrushPolyMesh3D”

Why is this and how can I stop this happening and have the proper name embedded into the OBJ file?
