Hi there!
I am no Exert, but in the texture pallett should be the Color/diffuse texture and in the Alpha pallett you will find your Displacement map.
To Export the Displacement map click on Alpha-Export… Select a Sexy file name… and save it as .TIFF file… If your 3D application dont allow you to import TIFF, get yourself a copy of GIMP (look on google “Gimp” ) , or use your favorite painting application and Export/save as .TGA or .PNG … there may be other formats that are 24/32 bit color… If you save your displacement map in any other format it will reduce the levels of the Grey color, and you will get lots of undesireable effects…
This may be true with a Normal map also, Iam not sure what color range Zbrush uses for the Normal map, so just to be save, I am going to say "If you are haveing problems with normal map Export as .TIFF and see if problem still happens…
The reason you are getting distortion between the legs may be because the Normal/displacement map is upside down in your 3d application… Try flipping the texture on the V axis, and see if this helps… Zbrush reads UV textures upside down for some reason… there is a way to fix this in the prefrences under export>flip V… if you have to Flip the V when Exporting , you will probably flip the V when importing too… there is another button in prefrences to check for this also…,
Anyways… If none of this helps you, try waiting a bit longer… there will be somebody about with the right answer…
Also Try posting a snapshot of the distortion…
Hope this Helps… Looking forward to seeing your work :D
Have a nice day
