Exploded Mesh In Maya When Displacing

Hi guys i wonder if you can help me im rendering my model in MAYA 2008. HIS IS THE RESULT IM GETTING WHEN IM USING DISPLACEMENT MAPS. IM USING THE METHOD WHICH IS PUT ON THIS FORUM BY SCOTT SPENCER.

To me it looks like your vertices aren’t merged. You either didn’t do that when exporting from zbrush, or you didn’t do that when importing to Maya. Make sure in “export” in zbrush, you click on the merge button. Try that. I’m not sure if that is the problem or not, but it does look like what I described.
