Evil Pig - First Sculpt with a Wacom Tablet

I just bought a wacom tablet and this is my first real attempt in Zbrush with it.

All I can say is that there is a HUGE difference between a mouse and a tablet and Zbrush just “opens up” and comes to life when you use a tablet.

Nice render. Is the rendering ZBrush?

When someone buys ZBrush, they should at LEAST get the $99 Graphire tablet. They really are indispensable.

no no, don’t bother about Graphire. go straight to Intious.
i had graphire and it works ok. but when i plug in my intious and start messing around zb,   , i cannot describe the feeling but it just too fantastic!!

sooon

Congrat’s on getting/trying out your new Wacom tablet!

This porky looking fella looks like one of Duke Nukem’s favourite cannon fodder

Thanks guys

The render was done in mental ray in Maya and I used an intuos 3 6x8 tablet.

Graphire did me just fine when I had one. It was a low cost solution. Made my first ZBrush models in it. Of course, bigger is usually better.

krakenCMT: my intious is same size with graphire(which cost the same as intious!) and i have a same feeling like you too before i get intous.

but if you have a chance, give intious a try.

I’ve bought an Intuos 6X8 just a few months ago. I of course like it much better, but before that I did most of my work on the Graphire. Wacoms rock no matter what the size!

The Intuos 6x8 is definitly awesome.

Its the one I bought.
