I love amount of detail you put into the lighting. Very good, with the subsurface scattering and whatnot. And I love the way the fold under the eye catches the light. Not only can you call yourself a damn good modeler, but one hell of a mood lighter, as well. Really provocative.
I love this image. Sure, you can get drowned in all the talent on this board, but this clown really stands our for me. It just seems to capture the perfect feeling for it. The wrinkles around his chin seem a bit too grid-like, but this is still awesome. The lighting really works for me.
