Not sure what or when it happened but everything has become inverted. Not only every object’s normals but top view is now bottom, not sure what else.
Do you mean in Zbrush or when exporting-importing? Have you try to have the floor visible to seem in the screen what is up or down and the load files that comes with zbrush? The typical error is don’t have floor active and built the objects upside down.
I use the floor / reference views and it includes all objects, everything normal is inverted. Luckily only the project I’m working on. Also re inserted the tools into a new project and everything seems fine, although one problem left, and the problem may be the initial cause. Using UV’s, I unwrapped and exported the UV check into Photoshop but when I imported the new image everything ended up inverted and everything I try (same project) is still inverted. Normals are facing outward.
That looks a bug rather than a standard Zbrush behavior in any way.
Not sure what happened in the first place for everything to be inverted but it hasn’t happened since.
The most annoying part is, I’ve tried UV’ing other things and get the same result, the UV is not flipped but inverted and can’t find a way to fix this. I also tried exporting meshes as obj files with a generated UV into Keyshot and the result is the same.
Are there any specific (Mac) apps for dealing with UV’s ?
Not sure if that will solve your problem but in Zbrush you can flip UVs and geometry when exporting in preferences-exportimport
Altea, can’t find UV in the importexport ?
In preferences menu. Each program has his own way to orientate the maps.
