Hey there… mister baloon head! Ich wollte nur mal hallo sagen.
I guess youre still busy. I really can
t wait to see something.
Fernando Kuhlman: thanks again Fernando! I did get a TR for Christmas that was awesome!
Moni-Poroni: hallo Moni . Yup, I’m busy… Zbrushin’ every day… rough page count tells me I’ve got about 20-25 new sheets in the makings… this whole ZBrush thing… I thought that working harder would bring my head back to normal proportions but alas… it’s getting worse
!
It’s so exciting, can’t wait see your next update:D
And congratz on beta testing UV Master, you are almost a member of the pixologic team now;)
thank you for anatomy tool information:) .
Quote:“but it’s more like ZBrush addiction” , me too:D…he he++
Santis: thanks bud! Slow but steady progress… .
Tokio: You’re welcome!
Wow, I really like all this work, and most of all you showed all the books that can inspire me and help me on my way to becoming a better sculpter/modeller. And 2000 posts?! Well 2001 if you reply to this lol. :D
Zak_Keen: thanks! Yeah, those books are the best: if you have money to spend, buy Scott Spencer’s books first (especially Character Creation); great intro to using ZBrush. Saw you started a sketchbook thread; way to go, keep’on studying and sculpting
So, ok, you got me there: post 2001 it is .
Ughhh, that sketch I did was horrid, I was thinking about putting some new stuff up but I’m going to work on them before putting showing them, actually they should be up tomorrow and a promis they will be better than my first attempt
Etcher It’s always good to see great references that you share in here, and I liked when you Take some pieces from Bammes
sure that you are improving your art everyday nor only art but creativity as we can see on TTVOR.

for your art & attitude.
Keep Rocking man.
Zak_Keen: nice progress with the sculpts man . If you’re into character concepting/sculpting, start saving up for that Z-license man and hit the anatomy books/dvd’s etc… you’ll never look back…(check out the works of some younger ZBC members: adampof, Rodion Vlasov, Neozerahan) Keep goin’
.
Ardox: thank you very much for the awesome comment and the stars
! Glad you like my worx & looking forward to seeing your worx on ZBC!
Hi there! Post no. 2001.
Oh no… …harrrrrrrrrrr
how could I forget it??
I CANT STAND IT when I forget something! :D BUT I have a good excuse. In a few hours I
ll be aunt for the first time and I`m very excited.
I hope you had great holidays with your family.
Liebe Grüsse!
Hehe try again at 3000
Moni, or should I say “aunt Moni”? That’s quite an excuse indeed, great to hear, hopefully everything went fine and congratulations!
My holidays, mmm, let’s see: friday our youngest son had a cold, saturday morning my laptop’s lcd gave up (repair time 2-3 weeks), sunday I caught a cold… . So, now I’m trying to do some polypaint and texturing work on a tiny, low specced laptop (13 inch screen) and I’m still sick… so … not TTVOR but TTVOS (The Thick Veil Of Snot).
.
Awesome work, I’ve been following your sketchbook for quite a while now and it always serves as a good source of inspiration and motivation. Love the way you present your work as well keeping the whole sketchbook feel to your digital work.
Dark_cloud: thanks, glad u like, and thanks for dropping me a line
! Yeah, the sketchbook feel… that’s what’s great about ZBrush: it’s digital, but can be surprisingly traditional at the same time (
… does that make sense?!?). Hopefully, I’l be able to update soon. Looking forward to see your works on ZBC
.
Another new poster here but long time follower Just wanted to say that I completely agree that your sketchbook is a great source of motivation to constantly improve as well. It’s cool that you actually sketch in zbrush… something i still need to play around with at some point especially with things like paintstop being a part of zbrush now. Cant wait to see your next update.
sweet stuff as always - I wants more
Come what may come, post no. 3000 will be written in your thread.
Yes, you can call me aunt Moni now, hehe. My sister-in-law had a c-section… Im glad everything went fine and I can
t wait to see the baby in a few weeks.
Sometimes I hate that shes living in Italy now. :rage: Sorry to hear about your laptop.. but a laptop with 13inch is better than nothing. ;) Ok, enough about the being-thankful-for-what-you-have thing.. 13inch -- that
s annoying.
I`m also sorry to hear about the cold.
The Thick Veil of Snot? Hahahahahahahahah  LOL!!!
I like your dry sense of humor.
Get well soon!
Scribble_Box: thank you!!! Great to let me know; my sketchbook really is my “Z-Discovery Journal” the great stuff that artists post daily on ZBC motivates me to keep learning. If you do find the time to open PaintStop, you’ll be suprised by it’s feel: imho nothing comes closer to working with real world media! Hey, I saw your sketchbook! Looks like you made a flying start! Great stuff in there, needless to say, I’m looking forward to seeing your sketchbook updates as well
.
Intervain: hey Magda
me wants more too
… but… time, snot, broken laptop, … . No, seriously, it takes me a while cause I want to finish the stuff I’m working on before posting, and for once have at least one finished piece in my sketchbook…
.
Aunt-Moni: cool to hear all went fine! There you have a new source of inspiration for your next Z-works!
.
