I was recently made redundant from the CGI company I was working for…Covid is a company killer.
After working with a team of people who seemingly became completely dependant on substance painter to do the “art”, Ive had the time to play and experiment to see what I could do “old school” in zbrush.
All trees sculpted and textured within zbrush…high res moss details created with masking and noisemaker. Plants and tree foliage using alpha channels along with hand painted transparency maps.
Everything had textures (albedo) generated in Zbrush from polypaint. All models decimated (Keeping UV’s) and then sent over to Keyshot via the bridge.
