editing shape after creating UVs workaround

Hello
Could someone help me with this problem?:
I have created a model in zbrush, I did the Uvs, exported the mesh, the displacements and I have rigged the character and painted the textures… but in rendering I realised I need to make a couple of modification on the mesh, to generate new deatils in the displacement. But when I load the Ztool into zbrush aparently he doesn´t allows me to sculpt in the shape if I dont delete the UV map… My question is…because I have painted my textures based in this Uvs…I would like to keep exactly the same uv position…so, I dont want to open the Uvs again…

How to procced?
thanks

What are you doing to get a message that says you can’t sculpt with UVs? (It would be good to show a screenshot.) It should be perfectly possible to sculpt with UVs. Only changing the topology will delete the UVs, as they will no longer be valid.

Hi Marcus
Actually there is no message…I just can´t use any brush into the model… the mouse becomes a cicular arrow that usually appears when you are in the grey empty area that tell you that you can rotate the model… well…What happens to me is that this circular arrow is always on the screen, even if the mouse is on the model. Then if I go to UV map/delete Uv the mouse becomes normal… so in the grey area is circular and on the model is a little red dot. And if I use a brush, it has effect on to the model…

It is weird
