I am currently in pre-production on a movie that I am directing and producing. I want to know if I can take a picture of someone, transfer the picture to a 3d image, and edit it in ZBrush. I do not own ZBrush, and am unable to currently use it on my computer due to only 256mb memory. The capablities of these programs will highly influence my decision to purchase it and a capable computer for post-production. So is it possible to edit pictures in zbrush(ie make someone look older)? Thanks.
if you just want to make a photo of somone look like they are older then i suggest that you have a play in photoshop. there isnt a magic button in zbrush that will turn your photos into 3d although you could make a 3d model of the person and then paint the texture of them on from the photo but i think thats probably more work than it’s worth concidering what your end goal is. good luck with the film.
