Edit Topology

Hi all!

I’m topologizing my sculpt to make it low-poly for my game project.

But I cant reach (edit/move/delete) a specific line, it looks like its hidden in my sculpt… the line is also grey… Why??
Can someone tell me how I can remove the line please ? (I marked a blue circle around it).

Kind Regards,

N.

Thank you for the link!
I already started over, and later I couldn’t move the points again. So I googled and googled and found someone else on another forum who had the same problem.
This answer helped : “Often, accidentally applying a mask will keep you from being able to move your points. Try ctrl-clicking in the canvas or going to the masking sub-palette and clearing the mask.”

… Just want to share the resolution here for in case if someone else have the same problem  !

BTW The link you gave me is more about using BRUSH Topology.
I used a ZSphere and then topology > edit topology.

I have another question and I cant find it by googling it… hope that someone can help me.

My model is finished with topology now. But is there a way to mirror a ZSphere? I tried doing it by deformation > mirror (x). But only the ZSphere mirrored, I also need the sculpt wich is attached to the ZSphere to mirror it.

Ok, so I deleted my topology and redo it all over again. This time with mirror on by pressing ‘x’. (I tried it before but it didn’t work, but glad it worked now).

It was worth it  My retopology is finished and I have a lower version of my character now.

But now there is a next problem!

I tried to project the colors that I’ve painted, on my lower version. But it projected EVERYTHING!

You see, I sculpted a naked character without clothes, and I added clothes by painting a mask over it, and ‘EXTRACT’. I painted everything, the naked body and the clothes.
When I was done, I Merged all the subtool layers together and start edit topology.

The nude body is covered by the clothes, but when I project it over my lower version, it shows the nude skin !! :S

I also tried to press ‘OUter’… to see if it only projects the outer sculpt (not the hidden inside)… but it didn’t work.
Whatever it does… I can’t fix it.

Does someone know how I can solve this problem?
