Hi,
I was wondering if there is now an easier way to insert an edge loop on an angle on your mesh? I am trying to make a sword and I would like the edge loops to go onto my mesh on an angle. Thanks

Could you show us a picture of your model to understand better what you are trying to do?

I started with a 3D Cylinder. I’m starting with the handle of the sword. I’d like to create diagonal bevels or extrudes. Some swords have horizontal bevels, some have bevels that are angled. I want the edge loops on an angle so I can extrude certain parts of the main base of the handle. Thanks for responding. Everyone here has been so helpful, much kudos to the community here.
Anyone know a way to do this?
I wouldn’t start with a cylinder now that we have the ZModeler brush
Suggestions would be deeply appreciated! I love the new zModeler Brush! I am still learning it.
I’d love to help but I’m afraid I still don’t understand what it is your trying to do.

I managed to figure it out! I used the Slice Curve Brush. This was my goal!
Thanks for helping
Ah, I get it. However, isn’t this meant to be something wrapped round the handle? Shouldn’t it be a spiral?
If that’s the case, you could have started with a Helix3D
