I’m going crazy here.
Seems like I’m stuck with a cursed Subtool.
I’m working on this sculpt which I started a long time ago in ZbrushCore and now I’ve decided to get back to it in Zbrush 2018.
The head and the body are two separate subtools. The face is 1573 Mil active points and I want to up the resolution in order to sculpt more details, but for some reason I can’t.
I’ve tried everything from enlarging the subtool, exporting and importing it in a new file, zremesher, subdividing it and then going back with dynamesh. It always goes back to around 1570-ish Mil points.
The body is another story. It consists of 2.3 Mil points and a resolution of 1392. When I up it it responds like normal and gives me more resolution, but the head just doesn’t work like that.
I’m guess I could just subdivide the head to get the resolution I want, but when I want to fuse it to the body later I will have the same problem and loose all the details.
Why is this happening and how can I solve it?
Would really appreciate some help.
