Hi,
When I try to do multiple dynamesh subtractions in 4R6 then things go wrong.
In the manual I’ve read that the polyframe of the mesh to be subtracted is white : when you press e.g. Alt + InsertSphere, then the polyframe of that inserted mesh is indeed white.
After dynameshing that inserted sphere is subtracted.
The problem is that the mesh now has white polygroups, and they will cause problems for next subtractions,
and that gave me the idea to first do an “Auto Groups” (‘Polygroups’ subpalette) so that previous white polygroups are not white anymore, and so that the previous white polygroups that have been created do not hinder the new subtraction.
This means that in ZB 4R6 I have to do “Auto Groups” each time before being able to do multiple subtractions.
Anyone else has experienced this?
Maybe it’s because I’m still on Windows XP (64) ?
Anyway I will submit a support ticket.
Hope tis helps.
EDIT : The update to ZBrush ( ZB 4r6 P2 ) fixed the problem : now after subtracting there are no white polygroups anymore on te resulting mesh !
