Dynamesh Studies

Hello all,

I recently had the good fortune to attend a BlueGFX event in London where one of the guest speakers was Maximilian-Gordon Vogt demonstrating some of his ZBrush techniques.

I picked up so many tips regarding Dynamesh and this is a WIP shot of my first attempt at using some of these techniques. Still early days and I hope to get the time to really add more detail, refine it and polypaint and render it as a final piece.

I’ve always wanted to have a go at creating a model of Superman based on the work of Alex Ross. Hopefully, this is getting close to it so far.

Cheers for dropping by, have a great day.

Minty.

Wow this is awesome " Minty " … cousin of Pinky !!! … I love the legs and the design of its body however I do have a small crit… The forelimbs are not working for me ( sorry ), it seem like you made the upper arm human, i can make out some deltiods, small triceps, big brachialis and biceps but the lower arm/ limb is more animalistic. I would definately play around with that a lot more. Consider making its front larger and more menacing.

I hope you dont mind me saying so, just my opinion sir.
All the best and Happy Zbrushing !!!

Cheers Ren. Appreciate the feedback mate and I know what you mean. I’m still toying with the idea as to what to do with the front ‘legs’ (they could be arms I suppose lol). I’ll have a bash at it and see what happens.

Cheers again.
