Yea!! Thanks man for the tutorial. Great resource! I wqill spread the word about your publication.
It should be on the top.

Hey guys! thanks a lot for all your comments here and in my facebook page, the response to the wet clay material tutorial has been overwhelming, which for me, is very encouraging to keep exploring and sharing.

I’m very glad that you have found the tutorial interesting and the things that some of you guys have mailed me, rendered with the materials I shared, are amazing sculptures! keep sending stuff and I will make a dedicated post with all the clay sculptures!!!

Once again, thanks for all the comments I really appreciate them.

Here is another “clay” sketch with different mood, I hope you guys like it!

Please forgive me Pablo! And, thank you again!

So I decided it to actually polish a bit more one of the clay sketches, and I had to start from the beginning that***8217;s why I chose The Sailor. So here is a render of this grumpy character that I am calling final for now.

sailor evo.jpg

here is a composed render with background ***8211; In my quest to find a good workflow to render everything withing zbrush I tried to keep it simple in terms of the materials I used and how many passes I rendered. the background is a fishing boat made out of very basic primitives.

COMP03.jpg

the textures are all hand-painted, the hair is all fibermesh of course and the old t-shirt was done with a combination of micro mesh and fibermesh. I hope you guys like it!

there are a few more renders and details on my website if you are interested: The Sailor has evolved!

Nice texture…and model…

Hey guys! I’m starting a new project and I’m thinking to use some crazy intricate hairstyle for my character so I started to do some test using fibermesh. here is a plait style:

Awesome Modeling and Rendering. Especially Love the cloth rendering.

very intrigued to know your approach to that braid  Looks really good.

Hey guys, I have been absent for a while now… very busy at work.

Intervain: the braid is quit simple actually just a sub-tool with micromesh and a bit of fibermesh.

chalkman: I’m still experimenting I don’t have something solid to show as a tutorial for that, hopefully soon. thanks!

For now I though i show you a quick sketch I did last night after I finish the epic “True Detective”. hope you guys like it!
