DynaMesh mirror to other half [Solved]

Hi Guys,

Ok, I’m working on head/shoulders with DM, I got a little artistic with it and turned off symmetry so I could experiment a little more. So now I really prefer one side over the other. How can I mirror this preferred side over in x and continue again with dynamesh using symmetry?

  1. Make a back up copy:)
  2. In the Deformation palette press Unify.
  3. Turn on your floor and determine which axis you are going to copy across.
  4. If you preferred side isn’t on the side of the axis where the axis line appears go back into the Deformation palette and “Mirror” selecting the axis you are working with
5)Go into the Geometry Palette and select “Mirror and Weld” first selecting the axis you are working with

Perfect thanks! (yep, backing up like crazy as I go…v06 at the moment! lol)…and thanks x2 for the steps!

Also is there a way - I’m sure there is - to cut an eye and save it out, and then slap that back into the model?

Repost that second question as a new thread or you may miss suggestions from the experts here. It will get lost since this thread is marked solved.

will do…cheers!
