Dynamesh - Merge down and Merge Visible

Hi All

I have a couple of subtools as Dynamesh and I want to Merge them. I have tried ‘Merge Visible’ by turning off visibility of all irrelevant subtools but couldnt get it to work.

I tried ‘Merge Down’ instead and got it to work. The subtools joined as expected.

Any reason one works and the other doesn’t?

Hello Matt

“Merge Visible” creates an entirely new merged tool in the tool menu. It does not create a new subtool for your active tool. You would have to find that new merged tool in the tool menu and switch to it.
