This is driving me nuts.
I just want to change the resolution of my dynamesh. When I do and re-dynamesh, nothing changes.
Please help or I’ll throw my computer out the window.

Try making a very slight change to the mesh first, like a small smooth stroke in a hidden area.
I’d just turn it off, change the setting and turn it back on. Throwing the computer out wont help. 
Ah, I found out.
It’s weird. There’s probably another way but I’m good with that solution.

By the way, Doug Jones, turning it off, changing the settings and turning it back on to re-dynamesh does not work. It’s the first thing I tried. The only way is to move the geo or smooth it like Cryrid said.
I think this is yet another Dynamesh issue that has appeared in R6. It was always as easy as changing the res and remeshing. I really hope they fix the issues with the next release. I’m fed up of having to fire up R5 to do certain things.
well, it’s in R4 as well since that’s what I’m using.
Ah, well in that case I never noticed that problem. Perhaps I’ve only started trying to change resolution recently.
