Hi all,
Brand new zbrush user desperately trying to figure out how to “subtract” with the curvedline tube in dynamesh…
Despite watching/following several youtube tutorials & trying to find the solution i`m failing 
No matter what i do, i end up with the “tube” added.
This seems to be a fairly simple operation, ive no clue what im doing wrong.
I`d like to conquer this task so i can move onto other tasks.
Would you be kind enough to throw some help my way?

Hold down Alt key as you draw out the tube. The same goes for any other insert while using Dynamesh.
note: If you don’t like the inverted look of the tube after you draw it out, just enable ‘Double’ in ‘Tool > Display Properties’.

Incidently, i had been doing that, however i found a thread where someone had the same problem…
seems the fix was to make sure the last thing you do has to be with the tube & alt…
If i press something else before clearing the mask & remeshing it won`t work.
